  • Geographical (map based) view of lighting equipment installed in the locality, that can identify the non-working installations at any point in time.
  • The road network (from google maps) to act as an underlying dataset to aid with the management of the lighting system.
  • Facility to add, edit and delete lighting equipment from a geographical, easy to use interface.
  • Facility to pin point and register a problem through a geographical interface.
  • Facility to manage the problem; receive complaint, give instruction to sub contractor, order replacements, schedule repairs, schedule inspection, record inspection results etc.
  • Facility to manage the costs of the lighting system.
  • Report on the frequency of incidence of lighting installation issues by installation.
  • Report on the lifespan of the lighting bulbs.
  • Report on the cost of each and every lighting installation.
  • Management of Warranty on lighting installations.
  • Other features as required.

In addition to the features specified above:

  • System will be seamlessly integrated with other Lornit systems being offered to Local Councils.
  • System will be charged for on pay-per-use basis using cloud computing. User accounts can be shared with other systems.
